Teen Fashion excites young people

Brazil Fashion Week – Teen Fashion, organized and directed by SK Eventos, was held last September 9-10 at Terraço Daslu, in São Paulo.

The event is destined for the young public and it brought the 2008/2009 spring-summer collections from important brands in the segment to the catwalks. The event received institutional support from ABIT and Sinditêxtil-SP.

Fashion shows by Mattel, Spezzato Teen, Pucca (Warner Bros.) and Lilica & Tigor highlighted the arrival of the collections to store windows around the country.

More than 5000 people including press and guests visited the event over the two days. Besides introducing the collections of the aforementioned brands, it also counted on the AMEM fashion show, an institution that supports children and adolescents.

It took a fashion show with 11 looks to the catwalk made by children who participated in the fashion workshop run by Nídia Duek. Besides creating the models, the children, aged 9 to 14, also wore them in the fashion show.

Nearly 500 toys were collected for the Happiness Project, an institution that supports needy children with cancer and carries out actions to re-establish self-esteem through fun and joy, encouraging the children in their fight against the disease.
