Nick Jonas and Miley Cyrus Date

Miley Cyrus (16) and former boyfriend Nick Jonas (16) went on a lunch date on Saturday in Los Angeles. Nick was so nervous that he got into a car accident. Miley is bad luck for Nick. It’s never a good idea to go on a date with your stalker.

Miley looks so excited (below) that she’s on a date with Nick she can barely contain herself. Miley seems to have forgotten that Justin Gaston is supposed to be her boyfriend. Maybe those multiple gay rumors are true after all.

Miley said the other day she checks her boyfriend’s phone to see who they’ve been calling a send tex messages to. It seems Miley’s boyfriends should be more worried about Miley cheating.

Radiohead tell Miley Cyrus to grow up

Radiohead have responded to Miley Cyrus after she claimed they snubbed her at the Grammys।

The Hannah Montana star, 16, wanted to meet the band at the annual music event last month.

‘My manager asked and said, you know, “Miley, she's really obsessed and she'd really like to meet them,” and they were like, “Yeah, we don't really do that,”’ Miley said in a radio interview.

‘I left because I was so upset. I wasn't going to watch! I'd already texted all my friends, we were all freaking out. Stinkin' Radiohead! I'm going to ruin them. I'm going to tell everyone.’

Responding to the threat, Radiohead told Us Weekly: ‘When Miley grows up, she’ll learn not to have such a sense of entitlement.'

Teen turns trash to fashion in 'trashion' show

Wylie High School sophomore Ashley Brown, 16, stole the show at the Abilene Public Library "Trashion Show" Saturday.

OK, she was the only contestant. But that did not dampen the enthusiasm of those who came to watch her walk down the runway modeling not one but three outfits made of duct tape, plastic or recycled material.

Not many girls could create a change of clothing fit for a day at the office, a picnic in the park, or a social event on 5th Avenue with just a little plastic, scissors and tape. Even Cindy Crawford might have envied Ashley's ingenuity, creativity and thrift in assembling a wardrobe that probably cost her less than $10.

Meredith Adams, library assistant and a graduate of Hardin-Simmons University, did not let the lack of contestants dampen her spirit for the event. Adams organized the event after learning of similar fashion shows in Australia, Los Angeles and Las Vegas.

Although Adams could not enter the "trashion show," she came dressed for the occasion by wearing a dress of an old window curtain and a blouse put together with duct tape and plastic.

"This was our first event," she said enthusiastically, "but we will have them again."

Adams organized the event to bring more teens to the library, and she said she believes this is a good start.

Reanay Brown, Ashley's mother, sat beaming as Ashley modeled for the audience.

When Ashley walked in front of the audience, it didn't seem to bother her that the bags had small Target logos all over them along with ideas for reusing the bags. The list included trashcan liner, doggy duty, toiletry tote, kitty litter liner, and water balloon -- nothing about wearing them.

Ray and Peggy Gooch came to the show to watch Ashley. They cheered after she showed each outfit.

Teen Fashion excites young people

Brazil Fashion Week – Teen Fashion, organized and directed by SK Eventos, was held last September 9-10 at Terraço Daslu, in São Paulo.

The event is destined for the young public and it brought the 2008/2009 spring-summer collections from important brands in the segment to the catwalks. The event received institutional support from ABIT and Sinditêxtil-SP.

Fashion shows by Mattel, Spezzato Teen, Pucca (Warner Bros.) and Lilica & Tigor highlighted the arrival of the collections to store windows around the country.

More than 5000 people including press and guests visited the event over the two days. Besides introducing the collections of the aforementioned brands, it also counted on the AMEM fashion show, an institution that supports children and adolescents.

It took a fashion show with 11 looks to the catwalk made by children who participated in the fashion workshop run by Nídia Duek. Besides creating the models, the children, aged 9 to 14, also wore them in the fashion show.

Nearly 500 toys were collected for the Happiness Project, an institution that supports needy children with cancer and carries out actions to re-establish self-esteem through fun and joy, encouraging the children in their fight against the disease.

Tennessee Fashion Show With Firefighters, Police Under Review

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) -- Memphis officials are investigating whether some police and firefighters' sense of fashion is inappropriate.

The city's police and fire departments both launched reviews Tuesday after allegations that employees were part of a fashion show that included stripping and simulated sex.

The event, billed ``Battle of the Shields: Memphis Firefighter and Police Fashion Gala,'' was Sunday.

The investigations were announced the same day The Commercial Appeal newspaper published a column by Wendi C. Thomas about the show.

Thomas wrote that she saw nearly nude men on stage, with private parts covered in soapsuds. At least two women, she wrote, were ``hoisted in the air, their legs around men's waists.''

Some swung badges, wore department pants and held nightsticks.

A show organizer told Thomas that all the models were from the police and fire departments.

``We've got allegations that were made and we will see if it's true,'' Memphis Police spokesman Inspector Jim Tusant said. ``What one person saw may not be what someone else saw.''

Chief Alvin Benson, deputy director of the Memphis Fire Department, said he was surprised and disappointed by the allegations.

Memphis police must have permission to wear their uniforms outside work, while firefighters can't wear their uniforms away from work at all.
